Hi, I’m Patrick Monroe. I’ve been a lawyer for well over a decade. I spent nearly four years at a large law firm. But most of my career has been spent working for myself in my own law practice. When I graduated law school, there were very few jobs. I couldn’t find a job, but I had a lot of student loan debt, and I also had a lot of insecurity about being a lawyer, let alone about being successful.

I started my own practice, and after a lot of hard work and a lot of lessons learned, I achieved what I consider to be my definition of success, which was to have a solid income and lots of free time to also do the things that I love doing, which are traveling, spending time with friends and family and pursuing other interests outside of the practice of law.

I decided to create this website for people like you who want to have successful careers and more fulfilling lives. I learned a lot of lessons in building my own practice. I wanted to share them with you. My goal is for you to be able to expedite your success, whatever your definition of success is, and to hopefully avoid many of the pitfalls that we as lawyers fall into.
